Garbh Sanskar (Sanskrit: garbhśāṃskṛta, "relating to devatas") is a category of literature in the Indian classical music tradition dealing with Lord Shiva, the foremost devotee of goddess Shakti and the patron deity of all aspects of arts and sciences.
The Sanskrit word "garbh" implies something that exists in a mystical form but manifests in a visible, tangible form.
I.S. Chitkara, an eminent music composer from Maharashtra, was the first person to introduce this genre of writing.
In classical music
